Spring is coming! So happy to wake up with the shinning sun and crying seagulls. I spent whole morning reading the book about humorous illustration with interviews and explanations of such masters as Norman Rockwell, Will Eisner, Maurice Sendak, Arnold Roth and many others. That's not a coincidence - Jake convinced me to apply my funny characters to the current project. If it's all about comedies why not to be funny? The challenge is to find the balance between funny and childish cartoony, because I don't want to make Disney like stuff.
